We pride ourselves on offering top quality, freshly cooked food. We use local suppliers where possible and aim to include the best, seasonal, fresh ingredients in our dishes.

We welcome everyone to our tables and try to ensure that our menus have something for all to enjoy. If you follow a special diet or have allergies/intolerances please ask a member of the team for more information on how our dishes can be adapted to make something suitable for you. We always have a selection of vegetarian and/or plant-based options available
We do encourage booking a table in advance if you can, please - we will always try to accommodate late bookings/walk-ins but it isn't always possible due to our kitchen capacity - we sometimes have to turn people away, even though it appears we have plenty of vacant tables.
We serve food 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 12.00 – 2.30pm and 6.30 – 9.00pm, and Sunday 12.00 – 4.00pm (or when we sell out)
From Monday to Saturday, we offer our full menu and bar-bites plus there are usually some chefs specials available. We also have special evenings - Steak night on Tuesday and Pie night on Wednesday
On Sunday we offer a lunch menu, which will always include a selection of starters, roasts, a fish dish, and a few alternatives, plus bar-bites. You can also pre-order a Sunday platter, which we suggest is suitable for four people (or more if you have smaller appetites) – a whole chicken, a joint of pork or lamb, to carve at your table, with 4 Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, parsnips, a selection of seasonal vegetables and a jug of gravy – must be booked by Thursday evening
We offer a cub’s menu for under 12s.
